On the Orbit, the keys are more clicky and noticeable than say the Hims displays’ keys, but I don’t find it especially noisy or bothersome. I am also not trying to make recordings while reading. No one’s ever complained about the sound of my Orbit refreshing. You don’t have to remove your fingers from the cells to pan the Orbit. Panning keys are rocker keys at both ends of the unit. It’s a very good display. It does not feel like a flimsy or poorly made display. I’ve had mine for two years, with no problems.
